R4 lifts the lid on the 2019-2020 East Coast UAP wave — 8 videos, all previously undisclosed

Eight of the 19 videos in R4 (42%) are catalogued to "Eastern United States," seven of them from 2019-2020 — the exact window as the East Coast UAP wave that generated the well-known "jellyfish" reports, the USS Kearsarge / USS Omaha encounters, and the Naval-aviator sightings that led to congressional hearings. All eight videos were previously undisclosed.

The East Coast 2019-2020 UAP wave is one of the most-cited and least-documented UFO episodes in recent Navy history. It underpinned the 2021 DNI Preliminary Assessment on UAP, the 2023 UAP whistleblower hearings, and much of the political momentum that produced the PURSUE program itself. Until R4, PURSUE had zero primary-source videos from this specific incident cluster — plenty of individual sensor clips from CENTCOM (Middle East, Iran, Syria), NORTHCOM (Lake Huron), and INDOPACOM (Yellow Sea, East China Sea), but nothing tagged to the East Coast wave. R4 releases 8.

The eight R4 East Coast records:

| Record ID | Year | DVIDS | |---|---|---| | DOW-UAP-PR106, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2020 | 2020 | [1014104](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014104.json) | | DOW-UAP-PR107, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2020 | 2020 | [1014105](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014105.json) | | DOW-UAP-PR109, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2015 | 2015 | [1014108](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014108.json) | | DOW-UAP-PR110, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2020 | 2020 | [1014112](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014112.json) | | DOW-UAP-PR111, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2020 | 2020 | [1014114](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014114.json) | | DOW-UAP-PR112, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2019 | 2019 | [1014128](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014128.json) | | DOW-UAP-PR108, Unresolved UAP Report, Western United States, 2020 | 2020 | [1014106](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014106.json) *(cluster-adjacent — same 2020 timeframe)* | | DOW-UAP-PR113, Unresolved UAP Report, Western United States, 1996 | 1996 | [1014119](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014119.json) *(older Western US comparison)* |

Plus two Atlantic-Ocean records that likely belong to the same operational-theater cluster: - DOW-UAP-PR114 — Unresolved UAP Report, Atlantic Ocean, 2016 ([1014121](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014121.json)) - DOW-UAP-PR116 — Unresolved UAP Report, Atlantic Ocean, 2020 ([1014124](../api.dvidshub.net/asset/video-1014124.json))

Timeframe alignment. The public "East Coast wave" nomenclature typically covers roughly summer 2019 through spring 2021 — encompassing: - The USS Nimitz strike group workups off the East Coast in mid-2019 - The USS Kearsarge amphibious ready group's July 2019 encounters (the "Warfare Tactics Instructor" reports) - The USS Omaha "spherical UAP" video (later released by AARO in 2022) - The 2020 F/A-18 "range fouler" incident cluster that produced multiple sensor-video clips - The February 2023 F-16C Lake Huron shootdown of a UAP (released in R2 as DOW-UAP-PR071)

The R4 batch — 6 videos from 2020 alone, all Eastern-US-labeled — is consistent with the 2019-2020 F/A-18 range-fouler cluster. None of the R4 titles name the ship, squadron, or aviator; all are the standard "Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, [year]" template.

Comparison to previous releases:

| Release | East Coast records | |---|---| | R1 (May 8) | 0 | | R2 (May 22) | 1 ("DOW-UAP-PR086, UAP from Dec 2019 East Coast" — the only prior East Coast R1/R2 clip) | | R3 (Jun 12) | 0 | | R4 (Jul 10) | 8 (six from 2019-2020, one from 2015, one from 2019) |

So R4 is a 9× jump in East Coast content — a deliberate release of the previously-withheld sensor-video cluster from the exact window that made UAP a mainstream political issue.
